Nicholas Kristof has an awesome editorial on the possible aftermath of the overthrow of Saddam in the NY Times. Read The Day After…it’s good.
In other news, I touched base with my buddy Mike in Philly today to let him know that Jen and I will be rolling down there this weekend. Things in Connecticut are rolling along, but basically, I can’t wait for the week to be over to see my lady and hang out in a different city.
The weekend was pretty great. Killer D-bomb and I checked out One Hour Photo on Friday night and then proceeded to get bombed in Hoboken. Saturday, I pulled together the apartment and then joined Schwartz, Lo and Lorilo in the city for Rick’s birthday dinner at El Buco. We finished up the night at Joe’s Pub in the East Village and my tired ass crashed in the city. Sunday was all about relaxing, watching the Dark Crystal and attending Gina’s birthday dinner downstairs. Then, it was back to Trumbull for more New England fun.
I have to say that this client is actually pretty pleasant so far. I have all the Kenya AA that I can drink, a challenging project, and a place to stay within the realm of civilization. Things aren’t so bad. I even get to watch the Sopranos now, which is more than I could at home. mmmm……bed.
