Ok…I’m really tired, so here’s a quick update from the weekend. Friday night, I met up with Kortney, Jaime and Bonnie and headed out to Filter 14 where we jammed out until the late night hours. The place was definitely pretty cool, although their bathrooms were a little wacked. All in all, I can say that I love heading out with three lovely ladies for an evening. 🙂 After about three hours of sleep, I was up Saturday to head down to the clam bake in Point Pleasant with the work folks. Lobster, oysters, clams, beers……nuff said. Definitely a good time. Came hope, napped it up, and met Jimmy, Christian, Ryan and Risa; we all headed down to Jessica and Mike’s place in Red Bank. After a nice chill-out session, we all scrapped plans to cruise to Sea Bright and headed over to the Wall Street Pub instead where we saw a really bad blues/rock band play. There were alot of mullets there though, so it was kind of a treat. Last call at the Dublin House and the night was basically a wrap. Today it took my all to get rested up, packed and ready to head back down to DC. After a two and a half hour delay at Newark, we finally got here about 11:30, but at least the hotel hooked yours truly up with the nectar upgrade, so I am writing you from the club level. Ahhh….here’s to the small pleasures in life. Until tomorrow…I’m shot.
