Today I’ve worked it out, I’ve got something I can shout about, Someone who believes in all the things I’m thinking….
Well, I successfully managed the installation of the Kalido 7 Data Warehousing Server today, and I have to say that I am pretty damn impressed with myself, considering the organizational obstacles at my client. My reward was not to go home early though, rather it was to prepare for more tests with the UK folks tomorrow and start drafting a Service Level Agreement for the new system. Jeez…has my life become this boring? 🙂
Anyway…as you probably know, they caught the sniper during the night. My suspicion of more than one dude was pretty right on too. The story behind this one is going to be pretty interesting though; it’s got all of the elements of an interesting modern domestic terrorism case: ex-military, gulf war, an American converted to Islam (although keeping a Christian first name after changing the last to Mohammed), a last minute ditch attempt to have $10 million wired to a stolen credit card account….the list goes on. Hopefully its over. There is the question of the guy who they registered the car with in Camden, New Jersey that is still at large. Isn’t it great that my great state always manages to make its way into almost every case out there?
Anyway…jamming to tunes and working on the puter right now. Planning on doing the Jersey thing this weekend if anyone cares to engage. Sbojeck Equipped!
