What can I say? The weekend was great. Jen and I got to rock out in Philly and check out a new scene. We partook in great Cuban food, enjoyed some cool shopping and a beautiful king-sized bed. On Saturday, we looked at Vespas, hung in Manayunk with Mike D and took a ride to see a winery out in the countryside. After embibing in some wine and cheese, we all made it back and had dinner at the Manayunk Brewing Company. Mike even made us Cappucinos before sending us on our way. It was definitely cool to see him. Actually, seeing his house made me even more anxious to finally settle down and have a home of my own that I can decorate and enjoy.

Needless to say, after Mike’s house, Jen and I were thoroughly exhausted. We crashed and had a nice brunch on Sunday morning, followed by a stroll downtown through the historic old city and then over to South Street. I even got to show Jen Zipperhead’s (not that she was all that impressed). All in all, it is definitely a great city. I could hang there for a while.

Now, its back to the grind. It seems everyone had a somewhat crappy day today though. Tonight, I am enjoying a bottle of wine and getting ready for the Sopranos.
